RESIDENTIAL HVAC
Eighteen HVAC and air balancing services delivered to homes across Las Vegas, Henderson, Paradise, Spring Valley, and Enterprise. NCI-certified precision, 28 years under one Vegas roof, written diagnostic report on every visit.
Las Vegas runs one of the most punishing residential HVAC climates in the country. Summer cooling loads push the condenser to its rated capacity for five months straight, attic temperatures routinely exceed 140 degrees, and Mojave dust loads the filter faster than any manufacturer rating assumes. Most valley homes that feel hot in one room and cold in another don’t need a new system, they need a balance.
Every residential call at Constant Air Balancing and Services starts with measurement. We walk the home with a flow hood on every supply register, a manometer on the return, and a combustion analyzer on every gas appliance. We read static pressure, CFM, and delta-T across the coil. That tells us whether the real problem is the thermostat, the ductwork, the blower, or the refrigerant charge. In about eighty percent of homes we inherit, it is something far cheaper to fix than replacement equipment.
We hold NCI certification (National Comfort Institute) and bring 28 years of field experience across residential, commercial, and industrial balancing in the Las Vegas Valley. The same diagnostic discipline we bring to a 280,000-square-foot office tower is what we bring to your 2,400-square-foot home. That is why we can deliver 18 residential services without compromising depth on any of them. Air balancing is our core discipline; installs, repairs, and maintenance let us see a system’s complete story across seasons.
Synchrony financing is available for qualifying residential projects. Whole-home air balancing packages, new heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, duct replacement, and major system upgrades can all be financed so critical work doesn’t have to wait for a tax return. Schedule a diagnostic or call (702) 840-5163 for same-week availability.
Walk-through and symptom mapping
You tell us which rooms feel hot, which feel cold, what the energy bills have been doing, and what repairs you have already paid for. Fifteen minutes of careful listening catches patterns most diagnostics skip right past.
Instrument read on every register
A flow hood on every supply, a manometer on the return, a clamp meter on the blower, and a combustion analyzer on any gas appliance. We capture actual system behavior in CFM, inches-of-water, amps, and ppm — not what the thermostat thinks it is doing.
Written diagnosis
You receive a one-page report showing what the system is doing now against what it should be doing. If a 120-dollar damper adjustment is the answer, we tell you. If a 6,000-dollar duct redesign is the answer, we tell you that too, and we only recommend the larger scope when the numbers actually justify it.
Balanced correction
Once you approve the scope we do the work — damper adjustment, duct sealing with mastic, blower rebalance, equipment replacement, whole-home ventilation. Every change we make gets re-measured before we pack the van and leave.
Verification and warranty
You get a final balance report with before-and-after CFM readings at every register. Keep that report for your records and for any future mechanical work on the property. Every repair carries a labor warranty; equipment carries full manufacturer coverage.
28 years, all Vegas
Constant Air has been balancing Las Vegas homes since 1996. We have rebalanced some of the same houses four and five times across ownership changes. We know what valley construction does under load, and we know what fails first in 2003 flex duct versus 2019 hard pipe.
NCI-certified residential balancing
Most residential HVAC contractors never sit for a balancing certification. We are NCI-certified, the National Comfort Institute credential focused on field-measurement CFM, static pressure, and combustion analysis. Ninety percent of “AC problems” in Vegas homes are actually airflow problems, and airflow is what we are trained to measure.
Balance-first means cheaper
A typical Vegas home balance runs between 420 and 900 dollars. A replacement system runs 9,000 to 22,000. Most homes that think they need a new AC actually need a 600-dollar rebalance, and we would rather earn a customer for life at 600 than upsell once and never see them again.
