PRECISION
Every room at the right temperature — measured, calibrated, and verified.

Air balancing is the core service that built Constant Air Balancing & Services over 28 years. It is the process of testing and adjusting your HVAC system so every room receives exactly the right amount of conditioned air. When your system is out of balance, some rooms are too hot, others too cold, and your equipment works harder than it should — driving up energy bills and shortening system life.

Our NCI-certified technicians use calibrated flow hoods, digital manometers, and temperature sensors to measure airflow at every supply and return register in your home or building. This is precision work — not guesswork. We identify exactly where air is being over-delivered, under-delivered, or lost through duct leaks, then make targeted adjustments to bring your entire system into balance.

In Las Vegas, where summer temperatures regularly exceed 115 degrees, air balancing is not optional — it is essential. Two-story homes in Summerlin and Henderson commonly suffer from second-floor overheating that most HVAC companies misdiagnose as an undersized system. We have fixed thousands of these problems with air balancing alone, saving homeowners from unnecessary $10,000+ equipment replacements.

Whether you have hot and cold spots, rooms that never feel comfortable, high energy bills, or a system that runs constantly without delivering results, air balancing analysis will pinpoint the exact cause. We serve residential, commercial and commercial clients across all of Clark County. Call (702) 840-5163 to schedule your diagnostic.

Our Process
How we deliver results, not guesses
PROCESS
NCI-certified methodology for every job.
01

System Documentation

We begin by documenting your HVAC equipment specifications, ductwork configuration, register locations, and thermostat settings. If original design documents are available, we review them to establish target airflow values for each room.

02

Total System Airflow Test

Using calibrated instruments at the air handler, we measure total system airflow in CFM and compare it to the equipment rated capacity. This baseline tells us immediately whether the system has upstream restrictions limiting performance.

03

Register-by-Register Testing

Every supply register and return grille in the building is tested individually with a calibrated flow hood. We document the actual CFM at each location and calculate the deviation from design requirements.

04

Static Pressure Mapping

We measure static pressure at the supply plenum, return plenum, across the filter, and across the evaporator coil. High pressure readings indicate restrictions that steal airflow before it reaches your rooms.

05

Data Analysis and Report

All measurements are compiled into a comprehensive report showing room-by-room airflow data, pressure readings, temperature differentials, and specific recommendations for achieving optimal balance throughout your system.

Why Constant
What sets us apart for
AIR BALANCING
The diagnostic-first difference.

NCI-Certified Accuracy

Our flow hoods and manometers are calibrated to NCI standards. Every measurement is precise, repeatable, and documented — not estimated or approximated.

Desert Climate Expertise

Las Vegas HVAC systems face extreme thermal loads that amplify imbalances. We understand how desert conditions affect duct performance and airflow distribution.

Diagnostic Before Sales

We measure first, recommend second. Our analysis identifies the real problem — which may be a simple damper adjustment, not the $8,000 system replacement another company quoted you.

Questions
What Las Vegas property owners ask about
ANSWERS
Common questions about air balancing analysis in Las Vegas.
How long does an air balancing analysis take?
A typical residential analysis takes two to four hours depending on system size and register count. Commercial systems may require a full day. We test every register — no shortcuts.
What instruments do you use for analysis?
We use NCI-calibrated flow hoods for register airflow measurement, digital manometers for static pressure testing, temperature probes for supply and return air differentials, and anemometers for duct velocity readings.
How is analysis different from regular HVAC maintenance?
Standard HVAC maintenance checks equipment operation — filters, electrical, refrigerant. Air balancing analysis measures and maps the entire air distribution system to identify where conditioned air is going versus where it should be going.
Can analysis identify duct leaks?
Yes. Static pressure anomalies and airflow losses between the air handler and registers indicate duct leakage. If we find significant losses, we recommend duct leakage testing and sealing as a follow-up service.
Do you provide a written report after analysis?
Every analysis includes a detailed written report with room-by-room airflow measurements, static pressure readings, equipment performance data, and specific recommendations. This report becomes your baseline for any future work.
